Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how monthly subscriptions, cancellations, and refund requests work for Cited. It forms part of your agreement with Cited together with the Terms of Service. Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, all fees are non-refundable.
1. Monthly billing
Cited subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Customers can cancel anytime, and cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law or where Cited, in its sole discretion, determines a refund or credit is appropriate.
Cited has no obligation to refund unused time, unused capacity, or unused features within a billing period.
2. No automatic refunds for unused time
Cited does not automatically refund unused time in a billing period unless required by law or granted by support in writing.
Current plans do not charge automatic overage fees. Plan limits may block additional usage instead of generating overage charges.
3. Discretionary exceptions
Cited may, in its sole discretion, issue a refund or credit for duplicate charges, clear billing errors attributable to Cited, or other exceptional circumstances.
Any discretionary refund does not create a precedent or obligation to issue future refunds.
4. Duplicate billing and support requests
If you believe you were billed in error, contact hello@cited.cc within thirty (30) days of the charge with your workspace name, billing email, approximate charge date, and Stripe receipt or invoice identifier if available.
Cited will review Stripe records and respond through support channels. Failure to provide sufficient information may delay or prevent resolution.
5. Failed payments
Failed payments are handled through Stripe. Access and monitoring may be restricted while payment issues remain unresolved.
You remain responsible for amounts due for the period before cancellation takes effect.
6. Plan changes and proration
Plan changes and any proration are handled by Stripe according to the configured customer portal and checkout flows.
Unless Stripe configuration or mandatory law provides otherwise, downgrades take effect at the next renewal and do not generate mid-cycle cash refunds.
7. Founder plan
Founder plan purchases follow this Refund Policy and remain subject to Founder plan availability limits.
Limited availability, waitlists, or later closure of the Founder plan do not entitle purchasers to refunds beyond this Policy.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Cited may suspend access pending resolution and may contest the dispute with supporting billing records.
Please contact billing support before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
